AI LA's newest initiative designed to bring the greater LA and SoCal tech ecosystem together through a series of active lifestyle events.

We are an initiative within the AI LA Community, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting STEM communities across Greater Los Angeles. Our Responsible AI Reading Group (RAIRG) brings together professionals, researchers, policymakers, students, and enthusiasts passionate about enabling safe AI practices.

Los Angeles’ preeminent event bringing together academia and industry to showcase the latest advances in exponential technologies; discuss healthcare’s most pressing issues, and empower the new generation of data-driven startups that are transforming the healthcare industry to improve patient outcomes. 

Each month, we convene to discuss thought-provoking topics. We prepare with movies, books, articles, debates and other media leading up to the meeting. 

Each year, we invite academics and industry experts to explore the ethical landscape of artificial intelligence; what we can do as individuals, and how to address bias, ethics, and privacy, while exploring what a fair, accountable, and transparent AI system looks like.

The third Thursday in April is when we host our Earth Summit, centered around climate change, sustainability, and innovative technologies helping to pave a path forward in tackling the climate crisis and ensuring every community...

I.D.E.A.S. is a competitive program that focuses on exposing professionals and students to AI while growing a more diverse recruitment pipeline for companies to source talent. By removing barriers to help cultivate creative AI ideas and innovations, we can also help solve some of the world’s greatest challenges. I.D.E.A.S. awards scholarships to applicants, who envision the implementation of AI for good, upon completion of the program.
